City walk Venlo
Together with an experienced city guide you will go on a discovery tour of Venlo; “Stedje van lol en plezeer” – “City of fun and pleasure”. This historical walk through the city centre starts in front of the VVV tourist office or in front of the Limburg Museum (another starting point can be arranged on request). The tour takes about 1.5 hours. A group may consist of up to 20 persons and the costs are € 70 per group. Date and time can be specified when booking. The program can be extended with coffee and cake, lunch or dinner at the Café Restaurant Central before or after the tour.

Verhaole oèt de Woutekiet (CSI-Tour)
The tour Verhaole oet de Woutekiet (“Stories from the police station”) is an outrageously exciting city walk. During this walk, you will learn interesting facts about the role of the Public Prosecutor’s Office in the investigation of crimes. At the same time, you will be told about controversial crimes in the history of the city of Venlo. A group may consist of up to 20 persons and the costs are € 70 per group. The tour takes about 1.5 hours and starts at the VVV or at the former post office at the Keulsepoort.

Venlo Town Hall Tour
This tour starts on the market square near the town hall and takes about 45 minutes. A group may consist of up to 20 persons and the costs are € 55 per group. On request you can set the date and time yourself. Unfortunately, it is not possible to visit the town hall on Tuesdays, Saturdays, Sundays and in the evenings.

City walk and visit to the Town Hall in combination
The starting point is determined in consultation with the VVV tourist office. The programme takes two hours (45 minutes of which are spent in the town hall). A group may consist of up to 20 persons and the costs are € 85 per group. On request you can set the date and time yourself. Unfortunately, it is not possible to visit the town hall on Tuesdays, Saturdays, Sundays and in the evenings.

Rosarium walk
A walk through the beautiful Venlo district Rosarium takes about 1.5 hours. A group may consist of up to 20 persons and the costs are € 70 per group. The tour starts at the former post office at Keulsepoort.

Q4 walk
This tour takes you through a rather unknown part of Venlo, the so-called 4th quarter or Q4. Historically, this higher part of the city has been inhabited for many centuries. Your guide will introduce you to this old part of town and tell you more about the expansion of the city to the north after the demolition of the fortress and about the renovations of the 21st century. The tour takes about 1.5 hours and costs € 6.95 pp (min. 6 and max. 20 persons per group). The tour starts at Helschriksel 34, at the former Beerkefeke Flores.

Guided tour of St. Martinus Basilica
The St. Martinus Basilica in Venlo is a Gothic church (1410-1610). The church houses valuable art treasures, including a beautifully carved baroque pulpit dating from 1701. The church has a striking city tower with 350,000 bricks and 3565 marl blocks. A guided tour takes about one hour and costs € 60 per group (max. 20 persons). On request, you can set the date and time yourself, with the exception of the evening hours.

Guided tour Jocus Museum
The museum tells the story of the Venlo carnival, the Venlo carnival music and Jocus, the oldest carnival society in the Netherlands. A unique documentary about the Venlose Boerebroèlof, the Venlo carnival tradition of the country wedding, is shown in the auditorium. By means of a photo exhibition, various images of the great carnival parade from different periods are presented. There are unique pieces to see, such as the Schellenbaum, the club sign of Jocus or the prince’s coat of his Highness Funs van Grinsven, which he found after the war bombings on his house. The Jocus Museum aims above all to show its visitors the diversity of the Venlo carnival traditions. A folk festival for everyone, made by the people celebrating it.

Tour of the Venlo cemetery
Old cemeteries, such as the one in Venlo, are full of history and are home to dozens of monuments and often also tombs where the deceased have found their final resting place. The Venlo cemetery is a place with a special atmosphere, an interesting past and special stories. A guided tour takes about an hour and costs € 60 per group (max. 20 persons). Tour from Brök wies Brök
The walk takes about 1.5 hours and leads along the Venlo and Blerick banks of the Meuse. The tour starts at the Antonius Church in Blerick. A group may consist of up to 20 persons and the costs are € 70 per group.

Tour of Jaomerdal Nature Reserve
The walk through this 39-hectare nature reserve, which consists of oak and alder forests and a former clay and gravel pit, takes about 2.5 hours. A group may consist of up to 20 persons and the costs are € 95 per group. This programme can be extended with a pea soup at the Oelespot restaurant. The starting point is at the parking lot of the Bilderberg Hotel de Bovenste Molen.

Tour of the barracks district Fort St.Michiel
On the banks of the Meuse in Blerick there is a fort that is the only one of its kind in Limburg, the Netherlands and even all of Europe.
Together with a guide, you will walk around between the partly exposed foundations of this 17th century fort and discover the fascinating story behind this excavation. The walk takes about 1.5 hours and costs € 70 per group of up to 20 persons.

Tour Tegelen/Steyl
This walk takes you through the centre of Steyl, a romantic suburb of Tegelen. You will pass many sights of historical value. The tour starts at Château Holtmühle and takes about two hours. A group may consist of up to 20 persons and the costs are € 95 per group.
